Hub — Privacy and Terms of use

These are the same texts the Hub shows inside the app (sign-in page, My Profile, Account › Privacy & terms), published here for the App Store and Google Play. Last changed 2026-10-19. The Hub is made by Larson Cyber Solutions · larsoncybersolutions.com.

Privacy

Last changed 10/19/2026. This statement is part of the Hub itself and is the same in the file, the web app and the store apps.

In one sentence

The Hub keeps everything on this device; nothing leaves it unless an administrator of your business turns on a feature that sends it somewhere, and this page says exactly what each of those features sends.

What stays on this device

Your sign-in account (username, name, e-mail address and phone number if you gave them, your role, and your password stored only as a salted hash), and everything the business records in the Hub: customers and sites, service requests, timesheets, dispatch, invoices and payments, the books, payroll, agreements, documents and photos, the settings and the audit log. It is kept in the storage of this browser or app on this device. Photos lose their location data (EXIF) on the way in. The Hub shows no advertising, has no analytics and no tracking of any kind.

What leaves this device - only when the business turns it on

What the maker of the Hub can see

Larson Cyber Solutions runs the Hub server. The maker can see which businesses registered (name, contact, when), their devices with their builds and when each was last seen, the size of their encrypted file, and the reports they chose to send. The maker can never read a business's data: it is encrypted with a passphrase the server does not know. The maker never sells, rents or shares any of this.

Deleting

You can delete your own account from My Profile: your sign-in and personal details are removed from the business (and from its other devices with the next sync); the business keeps the records you created, and the audit log keeps your username. A business removes all of its data by removing the business from each device (Businesses), clearing the browser's site data, or uninstalling the app; the maker removes a business from the Hub server on the administrator's request.

Children

The Hub is a tool for businesses and is not directed at children under 13.

Terms of use

What the Hub is

The Hub is software made by Larson Cyber Solutions (the maker) for a business to run its field service work, customers, billing and books on its own devices. The business's administrator sets it up, creates the accounts and decides what each role may do. By using the Hub you agree to these terms.

Your business, your data

Everything recorded in the Hub belongs to the business that recorded it and stays under its control. The business is responsible for keeping backups (Config & Backup), for its passwords, sync passphrases and devices, for who it gives accounts to, and for using the Hub lawfully - including the privacy of its own customers and employees.

Not professional advice

Payroll amounts, withholding estimates, tax liabilities, depreciation, financial statements and the agreement templates are calculations and starting points, not accounting, tax or legal advice. The business's own accountant and lawyer decide the final figures and texts.

Accounts

Accounts are personal: do not share yours. Roles are assigned by the business's administrators. You may delete your own account at any time from My Profile; the business keeps the records you created.

Updates and the Hub server

The maker may publish new builds of the Hub, and may change or discontinue the Hub server with reasonable notice; a business that syncs through it keeps a complete copy of its data on its own devices at all times, and can switch to its own Google Drive or GitHub repository. The maker may suspend a business's use of the Hub server when it is used to attack the service or other people.

Payments

Online payments are made through the business's own payment provider account (Stripe) under that provider's terms; the maker is not a party to any payment between the business and its customers.

Messages

E-mails and text messages the business sends through the Hub server are sent on the business's behalf and in its name; the business is responsible for their content, for having the recipient's consent where the law requires it, and for honouring opt-outs (the do-not-contact flags). The maker may limit how many messages a business sends per day and may suspend relaying for abuse or spam.

No warranty, limited liability

The Hub is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, the maker gives no warranty that it is free of errors or fits a particular purpose, and is not liable for lost data, lost profit or other indirect loss arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that cannot be limited by law.

App stores

When the Hub is installed from the App Store or Google Play, the store's own terms also apply; Apple and Google are not responsible for the Hub or for these terms.

Changes

A new build may come with updated terms; the date at the top says when they last changed. Continuing to use the Hub after an update means you accept the updated terms.
